Azalea Park Neighborhood Association General Meeting Minutes for July 10, 2007 · Summary
· SDPD: Pat Norris: CRO o A new storefront has opened at 4710 College o Paintballers in the canyon –this is trespassing; call the nonemergency number and they will get out there when they can. The paint does not cause permanent damage. o Advisory Board Meeting tomorrow evening at 6PM at the Multicultural Store Front · Toni Atkins Office: Kim Wynn – new o Introduction – just started yesterday · APNA Awards o Laurie Carlock for the excellent job in organizing two canyon cleanups ·
· Pride: Saturday July 21 o Need parade participants to sign up for a year to represent o Float construction: this weekend at Rick and Robin’s house o Karen will donate her generator o Michael has donated $100 worth of balloons o Sandy has volunteered to update the photo poster in the pride booth · Let Sandy know if you DON’T want to be represented · She has a week or so to do this · Keep the photo’s Azalea Park centric · Email to: seweeks@cox.net ·
· Azalea Park Home for Sale Tour: 1PM on Saturday July 28 o The week after pride o Drew, Joni, Lori are organizing o There are 18-20 properties available at the moment o To include a rental list, one needs to be compiled to be handed out – Diane typically does this o Everyone is encouraged to sign up for booth time · APNA business o Vote on expending $97 to mount the doggie pot bag dispensers · Purchase 6x6 posts and mount them there · Approved unanimously · Project Clean has bought a case of bags · Dispensers will be in the park and a second location -- possibility Pepper Park o Funding: we have close to 2k in the general fund o
