Native Garden Transformation

The Native Garden is just another example of ongoing commitment to our community.  The photos below show several events organized in early 2005 to transform an eye-sore into a neighborhood point of pride.  Thanks to everybody.

A SPECIAL thanks to our neighbors Kim and Kat who have organized:

Friends of City Heights Canyons

With their guidance, hard work and encouragement, we have the beginnings of a San Diego NATIVE GARDEN.  It will take a year or two to develop.  We try to think ahead.

Food is always a priority at our community events.

Some of the neighbors suggested naming this "Linda Park" to recognize Linda P's contributions over the years.  Linda preferred "Parque Linda" (a little play on words in Spanish.)  Everybody got what they wanted.
